My husband and I have taken our pets to the Cabinet Vétérinaire International for over a decade.  We trust Dr. Omaboe as a veterinarian and as a person.  Our cat Max has needed extra attention and we are comforted by the fact that we have Dr. Omaboe on our side.  We can’t say enough about this animal hospital.

The Conversation About Cabinet Veterinaire International Continues

I come from Nyon to see Dr. Omaboe.  He has saved my cat on more than one occasion.  He performed surgery, and cured a nasty fungal infection on my Persian cat named Brie.  When Brie developed a runny eye I thought it would just go away on its own with time, it did not seem too serious to me.   Eventually, I decided a trip to the veterinarian was in order.  Once at the Cabinet Vétérinaire International, Dr. Omaboe suggested a dietary change.  Sure enough her eye stopped running!  Thank you so much!

Cattery in Geneva Concerned with Collective Cat Boarding

So you’ve searched for boarding catteries Geneva, cat boarding kennel Geneva, cat boarding kennels Geneva, boarding kennels and cattery Geneva, cattery kennels Geneva, boarding cattery Geneva, cat cattery Geneva, cattery Geneva, catteries Geneva, cat kennels Geneva, cat kennel Geneva, pet hotel Geneva, or cat boarding Geneva.

No matter your search criteria, I trust that you’re in the market for a new cat boarding kennel.  But before you make a decision, consider the following information.  Finding a reliable cattery that understands cats’ needs is in your, and your cat’s, best interest.

Ever returned from vacation, rested and looking forward to seeing your best pet, only to find him or her to be thin, unhealthy looking, or sick?  Many facilities are unable to attend to the health needs of your cat.  Start by searching for a veterinary clinic that offers cat boarding, like Cabinet Veterinaire International, and these situations can be avoided.

Cats might be easy to care for, but that doesn’t mean that they need no care at all.  Fighting, illness, and the transfer of communicable diseases needs to be monitored at the pet hotel.  On the premises veterinarian care should be available, and trained personnel should administer care daily.

Never consider any service that offers only a room with no care.  And likewise, never consider any service that houses more than one cat in each cage.  Cats are not highly social animals.  Put more than one in a cage, and you’ll have a literal cat fight.

Cats will fight until a leader is established, and injuries will be inflicted.  You might be enjoying your vacation, but your unfortunate pet will be living in torment.

If your cat is sharing a cage with another cat, be prepared to retrieve him or her with cuts, contusions, strange behavior, abscesses, infection, or even FIV.  FIV is a terminal disease that is generally transmitted when cats fight.

Remember that making your cat a roommate to another cat will not cure his or her loneliness for you.  To the contrary, you will be subjecting your cat to possible bullying and torture.  Even if the enclosure is large, like an entire room, fights are still likely.  Your cat’s wellbeing and health should be your foremost concern.

When you choose a quality cat boarding facility like the one at Cabinet Veterinaire International, you can rest assured that you’ve made a sound decision.  When the facility is bright and airy, offers an exclusive cage for each cat, along with quality veterinary care, you can relax.

Feel good about enjoying your vacation.  Know that your cat is enjoying his or hers, too.  Peace of mind can be priceless, and your holiday wouldn’t be complete without it.

We have had many people give is positive feedback over the years.  We decided we should share these stories with you on our blog.  Check back often, you may find your story here!  If you have not yet told us your story, please send us an email.

I found the Cabinet Vétérinaire International while driving on Route Suisse from Nyon to Geneva.  I had passed by the clinic several times but I had no pets.  I was eventually adopted by a sweet cat named Arette.  Unfortunately, Arette had been given up by her previous owner due to chronic ear infections (they were very smelly).  When I took Arette to Cabinet Vétérinaire International for a check-up Dr. Omaboe suggested a change in diet.  I was skeptical because I thought the only effective treatment would involve antibiotics.  I sure was wrong!  I don’t know what other Geneva animal hospitals offer but I am completely satisfied with this veterinarian.  I think Arette is happy too as her ear infections have completely gone away!  Thanks Dr. Omaboe.
